Yaneke is a Clinical Psychology Registrar with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Bond University. She is dedicated to helping her clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families, overcome their challenges and lead fulfilling lives. Yaneke approaches her clients with warmth and compassion and recognises the significance of forming a solid therapeutic relationship. She prioritises creating a supportive environment characterised by genuineness, non-judgment, empathy, and unconditional positive regard. Through her collaborative and person-centred approach, Yaneke empowers her clients to gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and helps them to develop the skills and strategies necessary for long-term positive change.

Yaneke utilises evidence-based interventions in her work, specifically focusing on cognitive-behavioural and dialectical-behavioural therapies. Her expertise extends to treating a wide range of mental health difficulties, such as mood and anxiety disorders, eating concerns, and personality disorders.

Yaneke is experienced in conducting psychological assessments for children to assess academic achievement and intelligence. She uses various assessment tools and techniques and takes a thorough, individualised approach that considers the client’s symptoms, history, and life circumstances. The results inform treatment planning to provide tailored and effective care. Yaneke aims to provide a comprehensive and integrated assessment experience to help clients achieve their goals and improve their well-being.
