About Niruni
Niruni is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who completed a Master of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University. She provides psychological support for adolescents aged 13 and older and adults experiencing anxiety, mood difficulties, adjustment concerns and a range of life challenges.
Niruni takes a warm, compassionate and collaborative approach to therapy. She places a strong emphasis on developing a trusting therapeutic relationship and creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, understood and comfortable exploring difficult experiences.
Having worked across hospital and school settings, Niruni has experience supporting people through periods of significant change and adjustment. She has a particular interest in life transitions, women’s mental health, self-esteem and identity, cultural adjustment and migrant stress, neurodivergence, and the psychological impact of acute and chronic health conditions.
Niruni values working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and with diverse identities, including gender and sexuality. Her approach recognises how a person’s relationships, culture, identity, health and broader life experiences can influence psychological wellbeing.
