Booking an Appointment
Referrals
At our clinic, you are welcome to schedule an appointment without a referral from your doctor. We understand that starting therapy can be daunting and you may have many queries. Our team is available to assist you, whether you prefer to reach out to us via phone or email. We will be happy to provide you with detailed information about our services and our psychologists, and address any concerns you may have.
Fees
Our Clinical Psychologists’ consultation fees are $240 for our Clinical Psychologists and $200 for our General Psychologists. We understand that the cost of psychological services can be a concern for some individuals. That’s why we offer our services at a rate that is lower than the hourly rate of $300 recommended by the Australian Psychological Society. However, please note that our clinic operates on a private fee-for-service basis, which means that you will be responsible for paying for the sessions at the time of service.
Medicare Rebate
You will need to see your GP to discuss whether you are eligible for a GP Mental Health Care Plan (a psychiatrist or paediatrician can also refer under this scheme). If your doctor provides you with a Plan you will be potentially entitled to a rebate for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. The rebates are currently $137.05 (for a Clinical Psychologist) and $93.35 (for a Registered Psychologist).
Cancellation Policy
We often have a waiting list for our clients to see our psychologists and would like to the opportunity to offer any available appointments to someone on this list. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we kindly ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice will be charged a fee of $110. A full fee will be charged if you do not attend your appointment. Exceptions will be made in the case of extenuating circumstances such as illness, unexpected emergencies, and personal crisis. Please see our Cancellation policy for more information.
